Steel erection rigger wanted in Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Lincoln County, New Mexico. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings.
