Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
