Shuttering carpenter wanted in Bracknell Forest

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Bracknell Forest, England. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
