Concrete pump mate • Dillingham Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab.
