Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
