Finishing plasterer • Warren County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Warren County, Iowa. The job is at a new-build housing development. Requirements: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one The role involves: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
