Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Simpson County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
