Trowel-trade bricklayer • Haakon County, South Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Haakon County, South Dakota. You will work at a residential building site. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
