Quality checker — LaSalle Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Full-time, day shift.
