We are recruiting: gang bricklayer (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Ventura County, California. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Six days a week, one day off.
