Machinist — Baca County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Baca County, Colorado. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
