Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in City of Bristol, Virginia. The job is at an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
