Day to day you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars.
