Immediate opening: lawn care technician (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based at a private estate garden. Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
