Restoration bricklayer wanted in Dubois County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Dubois County, Indiana. You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
