Now hiring: milling machinist (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Erie County, New York. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Part-time with flexible hours.
