We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Williamson County, Texas. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
