The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Rotating shifts.
