Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
