Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
