Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Your main tasks: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,100 per project, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
