Concrete placer — Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Livingston County, Michigan. You will be based at an infrastructure site. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade.
