Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Orange County, North Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
