Join our team: we are hiring a deboner in Pondera County, Montana. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Rotating shifts.
