Sausage maker — Queen Anne's County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Rotating shifts.
