RCC mason — City of Manassas

Now hiring: we are hiring a RCC mason in City of Manassas, Virginia. Day to day you will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
