Fabricator-welder — Palm Beach County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Palm Beach County, Florida. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
