Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Decatur County, Georgia. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
