Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Schenectady County, New York. The job is at an oil and gas facility. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors.
