You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Your main tasks: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
