Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
