Now hiring: gas service engineer (Kogi State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Ijumu, Kogi State. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
