Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Ellis County, Kansas. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
