Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Iwajowa, Oyo State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts.
