Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Part-time with flexible hours.
