Aluminium tig welder wanted in Hamlin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Hamlin County, South Dakota. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
