Gas appliance installer wanted in Addison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Addison County, Vermont. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
