We are recruiting: foundry worker (North Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in McHenry County, North Dakota. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
