Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Otero County, New Mexico. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
