We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Borough of Stockport, England. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Full-time with occasional weekends.
