Floor screeder • North Northamptonshire, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor screeder in North Northamptonshire, England. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
