Incoming goods inspector • Halifax County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is at a food processing unit. The role involves: • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $200 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
