Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
