Great opportunity: CNC milling operator (California)

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in San Luis Obispo County, California. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
