Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Daviess County, Indiana. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
