Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Your main tasks: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
