Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Thomas County, Georgia. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers.
