Immediate opening: cnc turning machinist (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Muscatine County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
