Vacancy available: we are hiring a cake decorator in Madison County, Indiana. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
