We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Abia State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
